“Study me as much as you like, you will not know me, for I differ in a hundred ways from what you see me to be. Put yourself behind my eyes and see me as I see myself, for I have chosen to dwell in a place you cannot see.”

― Rumi

You have to look deeper,
way below the anger,
the hurt, the hate,
the jealousy, the self-pity,
way down deeper
where the dreams lie.
Find your dream.
It’s the pursuit of the dream
that heals you.”

Welcome to a community that inspires, empowers, and supports parents in their desires to parent at a more conscious level. Through increased awareness and reflection, we can find the healing we need to change the way we parent and living. As we develop love, kindness and empathy for ourselves, we will find it easier and more natural to nurture our children with the love and tenderness that we have always envisioned. Parenting does take a village; let’s embark on this journey together.

In this site, you will find writings on life, simplicity, meditation, parenting, and motherhood. You will also find services and programs that are design to support mothers and parents for the journeys to the full potentials in all of us that’s waiting to unleash.

Our vision is to be the platform of a supportive and nourishing circle of a conscious community of mothers, parents, and families.

To lead a more simplified life style:

one that has far less mental and physical clutter—to create time and space for richer, deeper relationships.

To have more access of inner consciousness:

where you’ll gain clarity and focus. As a result, a new world with greater meaning and joy will open up before your eyes.

To be more presence and open in every day life:

So you can find pleasure and enjoyment in the little things as well as the big one.

Martina’s story

DSC_01522Welcome to Circle of Changes! I’m Martina, and my adult journey may not sound all too different from many of yours. I spent ten years in corporate America, and despite making advances in my career each year, I felt that something was missing. At the time, I couldn’t put my finger on what exactly was lacking; however, I knew I wasn’t fulfilled, and each progressive year didn’t bring any more satisfaction.
Looking back, I can now articulate what I believe was missing. At the core of the female heart is a desire—an essential need—to connect deeply with those around us, whether they’re friends, family members, or colleagues. Without that deep connection, the richness that we all crave from life seems beyond reach. Relationships with depth are integral to helping us live passionately and with real purpose and meaning. But how do we get there?

I certainly didn’t have the answers, but what I did know was that I wanted to change the way I was living my life. What kinds of changes? What was I seeking? How would change come about? Again, I wasn’t sure, so I spent time with spiritual leaders and began a meditation practice that enabled me to be more present and reflective. Yes, change is difficult and scary, but I was encouraged that the process would bring about some much-needed clarity.

Shortly after, I brought two beautiful souls into this world. But motherhood was not as I had envisioned. It wasn’t a natural transition and at times, while I stared in awe and wonder at my two girls, I also struggled with frustration, confusion, grief, and a loss of identity. Add to that the physical and emotional exhaustion that comes with the first few years of motherhood! An unexpected move forced me to quit my job, and I took it as a sign that I should consider being a stay-at-home mom.

I delved deeper into meditation and spent a great deal of time learning about child development and parenting. Along the way, I connected with and was inspired by many passionate moms who struggled to find a similar balance while staying true to themselves. Should I stay home? How do I return to work and still stay connected to my children? Why do I feel guilty for putting my needs first? Why doesn’t mothering feel natural? How do I raise my children differently, more consciously, learning from both the mistakes and successes of mothers who came before us? In either case, how do I simultaneously love me and my children unconditionally?

While my porthole to clarity came from meditation and simplifying my life, your journey may be different. You may find answers and your awakening through art, music, or long runs.

The clarity I gained inspired me to start Circle of Changes, and I want to share that peace with balance with fellow moms. I’m here to coach and give you the tools and techniques you need to gain the clarity you’re seeking so you can live more passionately and purposefully—as the best individual and mother you’ve always envisioned. Motherhood is a privilege that connects us; let’s work together to make the journey a little easier and a lot richer. There’s a mommy warrior in all of us that’s waiting to be unleashed.
